Happy New Year!
2016 was a year chock full of milestones as it rushed to a close. In July, Laura had the pleasure of getting to participate in the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Music Theater Conference as a cast member in "Darling Grenadine." Following a picturesque two weeks in Connecticut, Laura joined Actor's Equity under a contract with Out of the Box Theatric's inaugural production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" as the Female Cover.
To add to a year of milestones, Laura got married in Tinmouth, Vermont on September 3rd! The weekend after her mini-moon, Laura quickly jumped back in the saddle and filmed an episode of "Unbalanced: a web series" written by and starring her dear friend Megan MacPhee.
In December, Laura was overjoyed to step in to sing with the Children's Orchestra Society's at their 48th Annual Winter Concert to help them prepare for their Carnegie Hall performance with Margaret Keys. Laura ended the year debuting a set of original music with Macabre Americana at The Bitter End and signed on to write a commissioned piece with fellow troupe member, Blake Pfeil for a project at Concordia College. Three days into 2017, there is already a lot of buzz and excitement for the things to come!
